Consider the following narration on this topic:
Uthman said that there is a mistake in the statement of God:
“These are most surely two magicians…”[1]
Someone asked him to correct this mistake. Uthman replied, “Let it be as it is, because no unlawful deed becomes lawful or vice versa due to it.”
